Problem Skin Care

Although the following products were created for problem skin, they are marvelous for normal skin too. As a matter of fact, Mary Joan uses the Echinacea Bar as her face soap, just because it feels so good- like washing your face with velvet!

The Goldenseal Salve is used for many skin conditions, in addition to the acne, psoriasis, and eczema, type problems. It is also used for diaper rash and heals open sores overnight. Just about any rash or skin problem will benefit from treatment with our Goldenseal Salve. We have had much success in treating diabetic ulcers, even open bedsores with this Salve.

ACNE: Our Echinacea Soap and Face Cream have been very successful in the treatment of Acne, Cystic Acne, and skin rashes & disorders in general. Make sure to use the Echinacea soap, exclusively, on any problem areas. Using commercial soap products, will interfere with the herbal healing process. The cream can be used as an all over moisturizer, even under makeup, or on individual skin lesions.

Products are highly endorsed by my grandson, Bryan (won't even do an overnight camp out without his soap), and many other teenagers - some of whom are dealing with cystic acne. One Mom was completely bowled over by the difference in her son after only one week of use!

PSORIASIS & ECZEMA: Although these skin conditions have systemic connections, they can be safely, and effectively, treated with our Echinacea Soap, Egg Shampoo Bar, Echinacea Cream and Goldenseal Salve. Indications for use are as follows:

Mild to Moderate Breakout: Wash affected areas with Echinacea Soap, and apply cream as needed.

Scalp Psoriasis, etc.: Use the Egg Shampoo Bar (specially formulated for scalp lesions). At bedtime, put a tiny bit of the Goldenseal Salve on each lesion in the scalp. In the morning, just shampoo with our Egg Shampoo Bar, and you will marvel at the difference in just a few shampoos. Mary Joan uses this bar occasionally for the added shine it gives to the hair.

Moderate to Severe Breakouts: Wash affected areas with the Echinacea Soap. If breakout is facial, use the Echinacea Cream on lesions, or as a general face cream for softening, etc. On severely affected areas apply a bit of the Goldenseal Salve (especially helpful on elbows, knees, etc.).

ROSACEA: This difficult skin problem has been helped by the combination of our Echinacea Soap and Face Cream. Just using the soap to cleanse the face, and applying a bit of the cream over the affected area, has helped to prevent breakouts (according to some clients), greatly diminished breakouts and redness (more clients). We have wonderful testimonials on these products for Rosacea, Acne, Psoriasis, etc.
