Herbal Tea for Serious Illness
Directions:
#1
Bring one gallon Distilled water to the boil. Add One package of Ojibwa Herbal Tea, lower heat and simmer, covered, for ten minutes. Remove from heat and allow to Steep, covered, for twelve hours.(I usually make the tea after dinner and allow to set overnight)
#2
Reheat the tea, remove from heat just before it starts to boil.  Strain through cheesecloth, making sure to squeeze all liquid from the herbs,(very important as this is very potent).  Measure the resultant tea and add enough distilled water to bring it back to one gallon.  This will replace the tea lost to steam evaporation.
#3
Store the tea, in glass jars, in the refrigerator.
#4
Taking The Tea: After following above directions, measure out 4 oz.   put into a coffee mug, add approx. 2 or more oz. boiling water, and drink on an empty stomach, 4 times per day, preferably 1/2 hour before meals and at bedtime.  Add 2 oz Cat's Claw Tea to the Essiac for best results.

Bring one quart water to the boil. Add entire package of herbs. Lower heat and simmer, covered, for forty-five (45) minutes. Remove from heat and strain Measure liquid. Add enough water to make one quart Bottle in glass containers and refrigerate. (I usually make two quarts together to save time. One quart, taken 2 oz three times per day will last 5+ days.)

Taking the Essiac and Cat's Claw Teas as part of a treatment program:

Take two oz, prepared Essiac and two oz. prepared Cat's Claw teas. Put them, together, into an 8 oz. mug. Add boiling water to the top, and enjoy. These herbs work very well together and combining the teas creates a very palatable potion. Latest research indicates that the tea should be taken three times per day, on an empty stomach. The easiest way to comply is to take it before meals.

Blueberry-Ginkgo Tea

While enjoying the delicious fruity flavor of our Blueberry-Ginkgo Tea, you may: improve circulation to brain & extremities, block age related brain dysfunction, improve mood, memory and night vision, regulate blood sugar, reduce anxiety, tension, headache, tinnitus and retard Alzheimer's disease. You may even reverse failing memory.

Suggested therapeutic dose: two to three cups per day for significant improvement.

Medicinal Herbal Teas

Place tea bag in 8 oz. mug. Add 1 cup boiling water. Cover, (I use a saucer), and allow to steep for 15 minutes. After steeping tea, gently press the bag against the back of a wooden spoon. This steeping allows the herbal tea to become herbal medicine. Do not remove tea bag from mug, the longer it remains in the mug the greater the medicinal result.

Taking Tinctures

Adults normally take 30 drops of tincture, put into a glass with a small amount of water. Take this into the mouth and hold it under the tongue for one minute, then swallow. This can be followed by juice if the tincture has an unpleasant taste If the person cannot hold the medicine under the tongue it is perfectly acceptable to put the drops into juice. It will, however, work more efficiently if taken under the tongue. Several tinctures may be taken together, at the same time if that is convenient.
